  Not Hydrated enough during Winter? Feeling touchy? Hazy headed? Exhausted? Did you ever blame it on colder and gloomy days of winter attributed to Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)? Need not be! The actual reason could be you are just dehydrated with the outside weather being dry. Staying hydrated during winter will be highly necessary for colder months too though we might forget to drink water and fluids. As we are exposed to cold weather in winter, with every breath our respiratory system tries to balance the dry air reaching our lungs by moistening and warming the air causing some fluid loss. Our body can lose some fluid due to heavy and deep breathing during workouts in cold weather too. Not feeling thirsty during the winter season leads to a lower intake of fluids and water. How to know you are dehydrated? You might experience chapped lips, dryness in the mouth, easily exhausted, dry skin, mood swings, poor memory, dark colored urine in mild cases. It can cause flush
